Complaints process

If a requestor is dissatisfied with the way their request for information has been handled, they can request an internal review. This will be conducted by someone who has not previously been involved in the decision making process.

Internal reviews can be made to the University Secretary via email to universitysecretary@lase.ac.uk or post to:

University Secretary

If a requestor remains dissatisfied after an internal review, they have the right to appeal to the regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

The primary way to complain to the ICO is via their website: www.ico.org.uk/foicomplaints.
